Hi there and welcome to Episode 94 of my online series where I create bass loops live, for all of you Wonderful Music Producing Producers out there. Feel free to audition short excerpts from this episode’s grooves above or, click here for the full episode over on YouTube.

The bass guitar lines (isolated from the other instruments) are available for download in either 16 bar loop, or full studio recording sessions which are over 10 minutes long each.

So many times I have reached for a nice sounding loop and found that there are only one or two variations - not enough for how much I needed my track to grow and evolve over time.

I wanted to solve this issue by giving Music Producers a large pool of bass groove variations to choose from. I play a groove (a repetitious pattern), add to it, and also vary that groove over time never deviating from it too much.

To add even more flexibility, around halfway through some videos I change the style completely. If I was playing shorter notes, I play longer notes and vice versa. The idea here is, one style could be placed on a verse and the other could be placed on a chorus.

A limited number of packages contain the chords and drums. This is to make it easier for you to create a start point, much like the tracks in the videos. The bass lines are in the keys of D Major and A Major, and follow a 6433 & 6415 chord progression at 87 beats per minute. You will receive processed and unprocessed versions, with the processed version sounding almost identical to what is heard in the samples above. All files have a WAV and MP3 option included.
