If you would like to add any of the elements you have heard to any of your productions, I have the bass guitar, the instruments playing the chords (as well as the chords themselves as MIDI files) and the drums available to download. These are all separate files as in, you’ll hear no drums or chords in the bass files, for example.

Except for the 16 bar bass loop option, each file is over 10 minutes long. So many times I have reached for a nice sounding loop and found that there are only one or two variations - not enough for how much I needed my track to grow and evolve with.

With the bass recordings specifically, I wanted to solve this issue by giving Music Producers a large pool of bass groove variations to choose from. I play a groove (a repetitious pattern) and add to, and vary that groove over time, never deviating from it too much.

To add even more flexibility, around halfway through some videos I change the style completely. If I was playing shorter notes, I play longer notes and vice versa. The idea here is, one style could be placed on a verse and the other could be placed on a chorus.

A limited number of packages contain the chords and drums. This is to make it easier for you to create a start point, much like the tracks in the videos. The bass lines and chords are in the keys of Bb Major and C Major, and follow a 4536 chord progression at 123 beats per minute. For the bass guitar downloads, you will receive processed and unprocessed versions. The processed version sounds almost identical to what is heard in the samples above. All files have a WAV and MP3 option included.
